If goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have the right to reject them within 30 days of delivery under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Cooling-off rights for change-of-mind purchases apply under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Refunds include standard delivery costs but exclude express services.

12. Repair Services

12.1 Service Commitment

We will provide repair services with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Upon receipt of your device, we will carry out a diagnostic assessment and, where appropriate, undertake repair using suitable replacement components and industry-standard methods.

12.2 Repair Timescale

Unless a specific timeframe has been agreed in writing, repairs will be completed within a reasonable time.

Typical turnaround: 5–15 business days from receipt.

Many repairs are completed within 2–5 business days, but delays may occur due to:

• parts availability
• complexity
• additional diagnostics
• circumstances beyond our control

If delays arise, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.

12.3 Nature of Repairs & Inherent Risks

Some devices are sealed, glued, or designed as non-user-serviceable units.

Inherent risks include:

• screen or casing damage
• loss of water resistance
• internal component damage
• cosmetic or structural changes

We are not liable for damage that occurs despite reasonable care and skill where such risks are unavoidable due to the device’s construction or condition.

12.4 Waterproofing & Water Resistance

Any repair involving opening the device, including battery replacement, compromises the original manufacturer waterproofing.

We test watches using a 100-metre leak tester, but original factory water resistance cannot be guaranteed after opening.

12.5 Additional Faults

If additional faults are identified during repair, we will:

• inform you
• provide a quotation
• obtain your approval before proceeding

No additional chargeable work will be carried out without your consent.

12.6 Devices Deemed Beyond Repair

If your device is considered beyond economical or technical repair, we will notify you promptly.

Where repair cannot be completed, we will return your device and refund repair fees paid minus reasonable costs incurred for diagnostics, administration, payment processing, and return postage where applicable.

For online orders, devices deemed beyond repair will be returned and any refund issued will be minus the postage fee and applicable payment processing fees.

For non-online orders, devices deemed beyond repair will also be returned for a £5.99 postage fee.

The £10 High Priority fee is non-refundable.

Devices with swollen batteries or severe damage may not be returnable in their original condition.

12.7 Optional Disposal

If you choose not to have your device returned, we will:

• issue a full refund of repair service charges
• waive administration and return postage fees
• dispose of the device responsibly at our cost

12.8 Refunds (Repairs)

Where refunds are applicable, we aim to process them within 14 days of confirming the repair outcome.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

12.9 Right to Cancel (Repairs)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you may cancel your repair order within 14 days, provided work has not begun.

If you request work to begin within this period, you may lose your right to cancel once the service is fully performed.

If you cancel after work has started, reasonable charges may apply for work already completed or parts ordered.

12.10 Postage Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• safely packaging their device
• paying for inbound postage

We are not responsible for loss or damage during inbound transit.

Return postage after completed repairs is provided at our cost unless otherwise stated.

12.11 Device Condition & Pre-Existing Damage

Devices may contain pre-existing faults, corrosion, liquid ingress, or structural weakness that may not be visible.

Where a device fails during repair due to pre-existing structural weakness or corrosion, this will not be considered a fault of the repair service.

We are not liable for failure of weakened components or unavoidable cosmetic or structural changes that occur despite reasonable care and skill.

12.12 Device Mismatch & Incorrect Model Information

If the device we receive differs from the model, variant, condition, or fault description provided at the time of ordering, any previously stated repair timescales, pricing, or warranty terms may no longer apply.

We will notify you if the device is not as described and provide an updated quotation or revised timescale where necessary.

We cannot guarantee repair duration, service outcomes, or warranty coverage if the device received is different from the details supplied in your order.

No work will proceed until you confirm acceptance of any amended terms.

12.13 Repair Warranty

Repairs include a 90-day warranty covering:

• the specific part replaced
• workmanship

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

This warranty does not cover:

• water damage
• accidental damage
• tampering
• third-party repairs
• pre-existing faults

12.14 Dispute Prevention / Chargeback Protection

By placing a repair order, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Customer Confirmation Before Work
    • If your device differs in model, condition, or fault description from the details provided in your order, we will notify you and provide an updated quotation or revised timescale.
    • Work will not proceed until you confirm acceptance of any amended terms.
  2. Responsibility for Pre-Existing Faults
    • Devices may contain pre-existing faults, corrosion, liquid ingress, or structural weakness.
    • Any damage or failure resulting from pre-existing conditions is not considered a fault of the repair service.
  3. Chargeback Acknowledgment
    • You agree not to dispute the payment for a repair through your bank or card provider (chargeback) if the repair has been completed in accordance with these Terms and the work was carried out with reasonable care and skill.
    • Any chargeback disputes must be raised with us first and resolved in line with these Terms.
  4. Evidence & Records
    • We maintain photographic and diagnostic records of all devices received and repaired. These records may be used to verify the condition of your device prior to and after repair in the event of a dispute.
  5. Limitation of Refunds
    • Refunds will only be provided in accordance with Sections 12.6, 12.7, 12.8, and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
    • Any attempt to claim additional compensation for pre-existing damage or cosmetic changes beyond these provisions will not be accepted.

13. Abandoned Devices

Devices left unpaid or uncollected for more than 90 days after notification of completion may be disposed of or recycled.

We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before disposal.

14. Fraud Prevention / Ownership

By sending a device to us, you confirm you are the legal owner or have permission from the legal owner.

We may refuse service if we suspect a device is stolen.

15. Courier & Shipping Liability

You are responsible for safe packaging when sending devices to us.

We are not liable for loss, damage, or delays caused by couriers unless the courier service was arranged directly by us.

Risk transfers to us only when the device is physically received at our premises.

16. Limitation of Liability

We do not exclude liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• breach of statutory consumer rights

Subject to the above, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the goods or repair service.

We are not liable for:
