This is how the service works:

  • Select the service you require.
  • After completing payment at checkout, you will receive a confirmation email containing your invoice.
  • Please include your chosen payment method on the order form.
  • Place your Garmin device, along with the printed invoice or order number, into a secure box or jiffy bag.
  • Use the address provided on the invoice to send your Garmin to us.
  • Please send only the Garmin unit itself unless you require inspection of additional equipment.
  • Postage costs are based on weight. We recommend using Signed For or Special Delivery to ensure safe and reliable delivery.
  • Once we receive your device, our engineers will begin the repair process.
  • If additional or different services are required, we will notify you by email.
  •  Additional charges may apply, and you will receive a new invoice with a payment link if rework is needed.
  • After the repair process is completed, your device will be returned to you.

Repair Your Garmin By Post

This service is available to UK and Northern Ireland residents only.

How much does it cost?

The cost to repair your Garmin by post is the total amount shown on your order form. This includes the return postage fee, with your device sent back to you via recorded delivery.

How do I pay?

You can pay online or by card or through PayPal account after the repair or you can send postal order, cheques written to Satnav Specialist (you have to wait for cheque to clear), Cash, Or we can contact you once repaired for payment.

How long does it take?

The repair turnaround time is generally expedited typically ranging from 5 to 15 business days following receipt of the device.
In many cases repairs are completed and dispatched within 2 to 5 days of receipt.
However additional time may be required if necessary parts are unavailable or if further testing is deemed necessary. If we require any additional parts for the repair, we will inform you before moving forward.

If we determine that your device cannot be repaired, or if the repair cost is deemed too high, we will contact you and return the device using your chosen postal service. We will also issue a refund for any payments made to us. This refund excludes the cost of returning the device, a £4.99 handling fee, and the £10 High Priority Repair Fee (where applicable). If you choose not to have your device returned, you will receive a full refund, minus the £10 High Priority Repair Fee (where applicable).
