What if my Garmin cannot be repaired?
We have very good in-house engineers who have a very high success rate of repairing Garmin’s. Although sometimes there may be more damage than expected, or the Garmin may be damaged beyond repair. If this is the case and we cannot repair the Garmin, we will return your Garmin to you and refund any payment made to us. If the Garmin can be repaired but needs more parts to do the job, our engineers will call you first to explain this before any work is carried out.

My garmin explore came back like it hadn’t been opened, the fast turn around time was a great relief and thats without priority service, the old battery was even returned for disposal, definitely be using this service again. im very pleased with the overall product repair, upto date status’s and general ease of use of service.
Needed a replacement battery for my Garmin cycle computer and found the Satnav Specialist service.
They offer a regular or a priority service and I opted for priority.
The whole process and expected timescale is clearly explained on the website. It made sense and I decided to book in my Garmin.
You are asked to pay up front, which might feel uncomfortable, but I was comfortable that using PayPal or a credit card would protect me if there was an issue.
I’m very glad to report that there were no problems. In fact, the service was superb. An invoice confirming the booking dropped into my email a few minutes after making the payment.
There was guidance on posting and packaging the Garmin and I opted for Royal Mail 1st class 24 which includes insurance & tracking.
The next morning, I received confirmation that the unit had arrived and was being serviced. A couple of hours later, another email dropped to let me know the service was completed and the unit was on the way back to me. It arrived around lunch time the next day. That’s a pretty good priority service in my book.
My Garmin Edge Explore looks brand new, is working properly, and most importantly is holding charge.
I checked the serial number and it is my unit. Amazingly, the routes I had stored on the device were all still there. Further testing on the bike shows everything working as expected.
I’ve taken time to tell you how things went for me because I am genuinely impressed with the service I received and think it was very good value for money.
